I am having an interesting thought about finding things! It’s like when you don’t know what you’re looking for, but you’re definitely looking for something, and when you find it it is either very tasty or revolting, but either way it’s an Experience.
It’s Freddie again, by the way, hello!
Now I have been looking at human people very closely recently, and I have realised that when they look for things, and even when they don’t look for things, they mainly use their eyes. Which is stupid when you’ve got a nose to help you. So if any of you would like to come with me to see how it’s done, please tell me.
The first thing to do is stick your nose out in front of you, which is easy if you have one of those strange sticky-out noses that humans (and Sid) have. Then close your eyes, sniff a lot and follow the most interesting smell. It’s important to open your eyes though otherwise you may end up standing in the jelly before it has set. Please don’t ask for photos because there aren’t any, all right?
So that is how to use your nose. If the main thing you do with your nose is picking it then all I can do is suggest you spend some time with Charlie Farnsbarns. I’m sure you’ll have a lot to discuss.
Love from Freddie
